Previously, this service was only offered to homeowners who own their property alone. Now, co-owners can also access the service. To receive compensation, they must submit a joint application or several separate applications to Diia. The Ministry of Digital Transformation reports.
After that, you must wait for the local government committee to review it and decide how to compensate each co-owner.
Each person will receive a separate housing certificate in Diia. It can be used to purchase an apartment individually or with others for the same purpose.
To use the certificate, you need to get permission from all co-owners and end ownership of the damaged real estate. This should only happen after everyone has received a housing certificate.
Since the program started, Ukrainians have submitted 6,400 applications. Around 1,000 people have received certificates stating the compensation amount.
